Whether you seek a relaxing spa at the foothills of a remote mountain or a bustling boutique hotel in one of Taiwan's metropolis' there are many hotels in Taiwan for every traveler's needs.

As the capital city, Taipei is home to some of the Best Hotels in Taiwan. For high-end luxury, many travelers enjoy the Grand Hyatt Taipei and Shangri-La’s Far Eastern Plaza Hotel. For great value hotels in Taipei, The Tango Hotel Xinyi and The Kodak Hotel III are great options.

Outside of the main cities, the options for hotel in Taiwan vary greatly. From sparse dormitories to family-run homestays to plush resorts there is certainly something for every traveler, but prices vary depending on the season, location and time of the week.

Hot Spring hotels are popular among Taiwanese travelers but vary considerable in price and amenities between resorts, those closer to larger cities tend to be more expensive. Avoid older hot spring hotels where the facilities tend to be unkempt.

Homestays, family-run bed and breakfast style accommodations are popular in rural, scenic areas. While some are as expensive as mid-level hotels, they are equally clean and generally offer more character than a big hotel.

No matter what Taiwan Hotel you choose, the friendliness of the local people makes a vacation in Taiwan a pleasure.
