While this small, unassuming eatery on Darlinghurst Road has the appearance of a run-of-the-mill takeout joint, the cuisine proves otherwise. Chef Steve Hodges, known for his skill in seafood preparation and his work at Pier, crafts a seasonal menu showcasing fresh seafood flown in from producers around Australia. Popular dishes include seared tuna with potato, coddled egg, and anchovy, as well as the classic fish and chips made from flathead fillets. Seating is extremely scarce (only 34 seats total), but take-out service is available if there are no tables to be found.
