Open to first-class passengers on Qantas and British Airways flights (along with British Airways’ oneworld club members), the recently revamped Qantas lounge is the white-marble vision of designer Mark Newson. There’s the vertical wall of plants by botanist Patrick Blanc in the arrival area, the floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the city and water, the enormous open-kitchen restaurant from Sydney celeb chef Neil Perry (of Rockpool Bar & Grill fame), and—most important—the Zen-like Payot Paris Day Spa, which also features vertical gardens from Blanc. Try a massage or an Express Energizing Facial, both of which clock in at 30 minutes. All treatments are complimentary.
