Overlooking the Nacka Strand channel, Hotel J is reminiscent of a Newport hotel and yacht club with a nautical theme that fills the 158 rooms. Each has white panelling, blue-and-white striped and starred fabrics, red accents, and blond wood. A 19th-century summer mansion, which retains the original large porch and tiled stoves, houses the bar and lounge, while the brasserie is located on the marina, with a large outdoor terrace. The brasserie serves American-inspired seafood such as grilled pike-perch in crayfish broth. While the location provides quiet relaxation, the city's center is only a 20-minute ride away.
