The Verandah Resort & Spa

One of the most family-friendly BVI resorts, the Verandah sits on a calm, reef-sheltered bay on Antigua’s northeast coast. All 200 of the property’s guest units are spacious (700 square feet) junior suites, with kitchenettes and private verandas. Kid-friendly activities, offered daily, include snorkeling, kayaking, and sailing in the protected bay; the resort’s Kid’s Club, with its playground, wading pool, sandbox, and crafts area, offers supervised play sessions for children ages 4–12. All three restaurants have kid-pleasing menu options (burgers, pastas, sandwiches); but there’s plenty of refined fare for adults too—as well as four different cocktail bars.
