As one of Napa’s most respected interior designers, Erin Martin has cobbled together a variety of art pieces, furniture, books, sculptures, lamps, and jewelry, selling them at her downtown St. Helena store M. Stone walls and hardwood floors create a cellar-like appearance to the room, with areas that range in style from rustic to industrial to high-tech in design. As a result of Martin’s travels, many items for sale represent the work of indigenous cultures with such pieces as petrified wood tables from Morocco and bamboo stools imported from Guatemala. The store is open seven days a week for visitors.
