With views of the Vaca Mountain Range, this winery is unique in that it sources Bordeaux-style grapes from almost all 15 appellations of the Napa Valley. Created in the 1970’s by Bill and Kathy Collins, the Rutherford facility was one of the first to be considered environmentally conscious via the use of 20,000 corks in its construction. The Italian-villa-inspired structure with adjoining English-style garden is open daily for tastings. The more comprehensive Barrel Blending Experience educates guests about blending techniques and then allows them to sample the wine of all the appellations, eventually blending their own personal bottle.
