Referred to by locals as "the Cameo," this historic theater has one of the oldest movie screens in existence in the U.S. and shows a rotating selection of current independent and mainstream films. From the outside, a vertical wooden sign with red lettering is stationed above a classic marquee displaying the theater's daily showings; inside the lobby, the decorative elements are reminiscent of the 1920’s, with old movie posters reflecting amber light. A variety of vegan snacks, juices, gelatos, and sorbets are for sale at the concession bar. Theaters have traditional cinema-style seating, as well as 18 purple love-seats.
Insider Tip:
Upon hearing that Ian McIver’s film class had been dropped from Napa Valley College, owner Cathy Buck invited him to teach the class on Tuesday afternoons at the Cameo instead.
