Split
Hotel Vestibul Palace
It literally took three palaces to build this boutique hotel in central Split, combining Romanic, Gothic, and Renaissance structures to produce Hotel Vestibul on Croatia’s Adriatic coast. Hotel rooms combine old world with modern, featuring original stone walls, new wood floors, and flat-screen TVs. The restaurant has scrubbed stone walls, custom wood tables, and an overhead sunroof. A bar with wood floors and an open-air courtyard surrounded by high stone walls completes the spaces for food and drink. Out front, tourists flock to take in the worn arches of the peristyle.
Room to Book:
Book a third-floor room (the highest floor) to enjoy the best view of the city or the hotel's interior courtyard.
Insider Tip:
Hotel Vestibul is a short walk from Split’s waterfront promenade, which offers prime views of passersby, shimmering water, and visiting cruise ships.
