Nestled in Vermont's Green Mountains, Castle Hill is really three resorts in one. An in-the-woods vibe comes with 10 rooms in the Costwolds-style Castle itself, a Historic Register mansion built in 1905. There's more elbow room in the dozen rental units available among the Resort Home condos behind the mansion. Even cheaper is the family-oriented Pointe, with 96 rooms and kitchen suites. Totally overhauled in 2008, it features an indoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, and game room and offers access, for a small fee, to the spa, tennis courts, and outdoor pool at Resort Home.
