In the spirit of brotherly competition, chefs David and Bob Kinkead established this South End success in 2004. The restaurant is based on an unusual concept: a “dueling” menu featuring each brother’s take on the same main ingredients. After settling in the copper- and red-hued dining room or outside on the shaded patio, the choices continue as patrons select one or the other brother’s modern American creation for each course. For instance, diners choosing a fin fish plate may decide between David’s mustard-glazed salmon with crab and tomato butter and Bob’s breaded flounder with eggplant caponata, chutney, and chickpea cake.
For an even more memorable dining experience, reserve seating at the chef’s bar, where you’ll enjoy views of the kitchen and interaction with the chefs.
