Ramekins Sonoma Valley Culinary School
Designed for home chefs rather than restaurant professionals, this cooking school has a great range of short-format courses to help you brush up on (or develop) your kitchen skills. The one- to three-day classes are offered in both hands-on format (where you do the cooking) or as demos (where you watch and learn), and the subject matter covers everything from holiday pies and hors d’oeuvres to artisanal cheese-and-wine pairings. The school also hosts regular dinners with local vintners and chefs and culinary tours of local farms.
