Cigala
London, England, WC1N 3LW, United Kingdom
A bit of Spain in the heart of London, Cigala was inspired by the owner’s mother, who lived in Granada for 30 years. A passion for Spanish food and cuisine is evident in the menu of tapas and desserts. Diners sit at tables with white linens and sample such dishes as chorizo a la brasa, croquetas de pollo and tortilla española, a traditional Spanish omelet. The after-dinner menu consists of desserts, including arroz con leche (rice pudding) and crema catalana, as well as a selection of sweet wines, sherries and brandies.
Insider Tip:
The menu at Cigala changes daily to utilize the freshest ingredients, so visit frequently for new dishes in addition to the mainstay classic Spanish meals such as paella.
