Located 11 miles outside of Aspen in the Elk Mountains, the Pine Creek Cookhouse serves gourmet American cuisine is a secluded cabin setting. Diners must access the restaurant by cross country ski or snowshoe during the day. At night, the restaurant provides guided miner’s lantern tours and sleigh rides. Lunch offerings include dishes like wild game sherpa stew, while dinner selections include more sophisticated items, such as pistachio crusted caribou and oven-roasted rack of lamb. The dining room has a classic cabin feel, with exposed beams of Colorado wood, chandeliers made of antlers, and roaring fires.
