Saint Pierre
Owned by husband and wife Emmanuel Stroobant and Edina Hong, Saint Pierre is widely considered one of Singapore’s finest restaurants thanks to Stroobant’s innovative take on French and Japanese cuisine. Situated in the central business district, the restaurant has a classically styled dining room with wood paneling and widely spaced, white-clothed tables. One of the main draws at Saint Pierre is the foie gras menu, featuring five different preparations of the French staple, including pan-fried foie gras with caramelized green apples and port sauce. The menu also includes several Japanese-influenced dishes, such as the white miso paste—crusted black cod.
Insider Tip:
For the most affordable experience, visit on Tuesday afternoon and opt for the relatively inexpensive prix fixe lunch, paired with your own bottle of wine (corkage is free every Tuesday).
