Housed in a charming 18th century residential building turned boutique hotel, Azahar serves contemporary cuisine that is distinctly Sevillano in style and creative in flavor. Daring diners can go all in and try the indulgent tasting menu, but for the more timid, the à la carte is just as tempting. Must try mains include the Iberian pork tenderloin on a bed of truffle sauce and apples as well as the sea bass atop a seaweed risotto. The minimalist venue is small and stark, save for a few pieces of artwork, but the adjoining courtyard, full of seasonal flora and old world character, is ideal for intimate meals.
