Marriott Waterfront, Seattle

The Marriott is an eight-story property with rooms on the downtown waterfront, directly across from the Seattle Cruise Terminal (Pier 66) where ships bound for Alaska dock. The brightly colored lobby boasts mosaic tiles and a glass sculpture by Seattle Glassblowing Studio in shades of orange, blue, and red, while the guest rooms offer more subdued hues of brown and black. Many of the rooms feature a private balcony with views of Mt. Rainier, Elliott Bay, and the Olympic Mountains. The Hook & Plow pub serves handcrafted beers and regional cuisine, and the hotel maintains a pet- and smoke-free policy.
