Located in downtown minutes from the Seattle Art Museum and Pike Place Market, the Four Seasons hotel has a discreet side-street entrance leading to a lobby with sweeping views of Elliott Bay and the Olympic Mountains. The lobby walls are made of volcanic basalt, and reclaimed redwood is used in accents, while neutral toned guest rooms have bright accents and pillow-top mattresses. At Goldfinch Tavern, restauranteur Ethan Stowell and chef Joe Ritchie stacked the menu with local fish and mushrooms, giant burgers and fresh oysters. The modern space overlooks the waterfront and Seattle's Great Wheel.
