South Lake Union Trolley

TEL: (866) 205-5001

The South Lake Union Trolley runs a more than 2.6-mile-long course with 11 stops in downtown Seattle. The system was put into service in December 2007 to connect with the city's other public transit systems and revitalize the biotech-heavy neighborhood of South Lake Union. The line passes by the 12-acre waterfront park at Lake Union and runs every fifteen minutes, seven days a week. Residents have hopped on in numbers; perhaps the popularity was helped by locals who fondly refer to the system by the acronym SLUT (South Lake Union Trolley).
