Pike/Pine Corridor

Pike St. and Pine St.
I-5 to 15th Ave. E.
Seattle, WA, United States

The Pike/Pine corridor in Seattle runs from Interstate 5 to 15th Ave E and is named after the two parallel commercial strips that form it. The corridor is home to diverse groups and interests ranging from artists to software developers, cupcakes to noodles, and bars to music venues. Before 1990, it was a neighborhood of garages, auto dealers, and commercial workshops that were gradually transformed into apartments, lofts, and studios. The mostly young, urban dwellers in Pike/Pine corridor have influenced the type of retailers in the community.
