Coffee & Art
Seattle, WA, United States
Named after the 1920's phonograph, Victrola Coffee Roasters celebrates the exuberant zeitgeist of this bygone era at its three Seattle locations. The Coffee and Art on 15th café is housed in a circa-1920's, auto row building and channels a community vibe (some consider it "the living room of Capitol Hill"). Besides serving up artisan pastry, craft sandwiches and a range of house-roasted, often-organic, coffee, the café hosts an eclectic lineup of events. Art shows, rockabilly and jazz performances, movie nights, even a rock opera, and "insect safari," have taken place at the chain's flagship location, which opened in 2007.
Insider Tip:
Complementary public cuppings take place Thursdays at 1 p.m. A barista will help you sniff, slurp, and taste your way towards a better understanding of coffee.
