Located in the Kierland Commons shopping center, Zinc Bistro serves classic French fare alongside inventive French-American fusion dishes. Behind a red awning and carved wooden doors with glass insets, the dim, Paris-inspired dining room is designed with white globe lights, warm wood paneling, crisp white tablecloths, and a 25-foot zinc bar. Seating is also available on the sidewalk patio, lined with round marble tables and wicker chairs, as well as the candlelit garden patio. Created by chef Matt Carter, the menu includes specialties like the traditional onion soup and the duck confit sandwich with roasted garlic aioli.
Insider Tip:
The Valrhona chocolate soufflé is a must here; just made sure to order it early, as it takes about 25 minutes to bake.
