Merci French Cafe & Patisserie
Chef and owner Duc Liao was once a Parisian fashion photographer, a skill set he brings to the forefront of this exquisitely crafted space and artful patisserie. With crystal chandeliers, damask wallpaper, Midcentury Modern classic seating and his work hanging on the wall, Liao has turned a strip mall space into a charming rendition of a French cafe. The menu is a solid replication of brasserie fare, including quiche, Croque Madame, escargot, and a divine duck confit. Dinner plates include both salmon and black truffle burgers, but you're most likely here for the sweets. The morning batch of croissants is heavenly, and the patisserie case is loaded with éclairs, tarts, macarons, and a creamy salted caramel cheesecake.
