Savannah is home to Flannery O’Connor’s childhood residence and several sites made famous by John Berendt’s Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. The best place to explore its literary history further is this outstanding bookshop on West Bay Street. The shop stocks thousands of volumes, including vintage editions that date back to the 17th century, as well as modern-day classics. This is highly recommended browsing territory.
