Things to do in Sardinia
Cagliari is considered one of the greenest cities in the Italian realm and consequently has numerous national parks. Should you be in the mood for extensive walks in nature, Cagliari should definitely be your destination on your trip to Sardinia. Within the Monte Claro Provincial Park is the provincial library, located in an old mansion atop the hill. Should you decide to stay in Cagliari, you should also visit the Monumental Cemetery of Bonaria for a trip into the past. This historic cemetery was used from 1829 up to 1968 and extends from the base of the hill all the way to the top. Not only that, but the cemetery also shares space with a necropolis (abandoned city) used by the Romans.
Bosa has a historic town center known as the Sa Costa district, and it’s another great thing to do in Sardinia. Under the Malaspina castle on the hill lies a town with cobbled streets with shops and cafes on all sides. Traveling to Sardinia should always include a day trip to this charming town.
The park consists of seven mostly uninhabited islands, and is destination No. 1 for Sardinian vacationers.
The first spa from Acqua di Parma is at the seaside Yacht Club Costa Smeralda. Our favorite indulgence: outdoor treatment cabanas overlooking the Mediterranean.
The museum Abstract Expressionist sculptures by Costantino Nivola.
