Saratoga
Brush Creek Ranch
Saratoga, WY, 82331, United States
Bruce White is a hospitality industry titan, but when he turned this 1880s Wyoming ranch into a luxury resort and spa in 2010, it was very much a personal project. It’s the kind of place a CEO like him can kick back, relax, and enjoy the Wild West lifestyle in a log cabin atmosphere that looks and feels suitably rustic but is blessed with all manner of modern comforts. The ranch’s 13,000 acres of rolling Wyoming prairie—threaded with fishing rivers and 50 miles of trails and hemmed by the Sierra Madre and Snowy mountains—hug Medicine Bow National Forest in southern Wyoming’s North Platte River Valley. Rates are truly all-inclusive, covering all meals, all drinks (including premium wines and alcohol), and all activities—from horseback riding to Nordic skiing to river fishing and big game hunting.
Insider Tip:
If you prefer shooting a target to hunting an animal, the Brush Creek Bow and Gun Club, isolated in its own sector of the property, offers clay and skeet shooting, 3-D archery, and a private clubhouse in a yurt.
