Run by husband-and-wife team Adam and Dianna Lee, Siduri Wines produces an average of 27 Pinot Noirs each year, more than any other winery in California. Named for the Babylonian goddess of wine, the company harvests grapes from 20 different vineyards stretching from Sonoma County all the way up to Oregon’s Willamette Valley. In order to ensure maximum flavor, the Lees supervise the tasting and picking of grapes from each vineyard. The wines are created in a no-frills warehouse facility in Santa Rosa, which is open for tours and tastings by appointment. Tours typically last about an hour.
After visiting the warehouse, walk five minutes south to Piner Café for some homemade comfort food, like beef stew with cornbread or meatloaf with mashed potatoes.
