Things to do in San José del Cabo
Time your art tour for a Thursday. Every week from November to June, the Art District holds an Art Walk on Thursday evenings. It's basically an open house for the neighborhood's galleries, shops and eateries, and it's not to be missed.
Meet the fish. The waters off of Los Cabos contain more than 800 species of fish, and you can take advantage of this underwater treasure by chartering a boat for sport fishing or by joining a snorkeling tour.
Aquatic thrills. If you're looking for things to do in San José del Cabo to boost your adrenaline during daylight hours, try watersports such as jet skiing, waterskiing and parasailing.
Shop. One of the best things to do in San José is shopping. You can browse the area's boutiques for tiles, pottery and jewelry that come from all over Mexico.
Do nightlife right. It should be no surprise that options for things to do in Los Cabos multiply once the sun sets. To try something besides the same old cerveza, visit the Baja Brewing Company, a local craft brewing operation with locations in both San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas.
Head inland. To escape the beach for a little while, take a 4x4 trip to the cactus-filled desert outside of Los Cabos.
