Located in the lobby of the 1928 iconic Sir Francis Drake Hotel, Bar Drake is known as the patriarch of Union Square bars. Bar-goers are surrounded by ornate architecture, amber lighting, brown leather upholstery, an antique-mirrored bar-back, and an array of scotch and whisky bottles dating back to the 1930's. Mixologist Jacques Bezuindenhout, stands behind a bar made of a single slab of solid walnut. His cocktail menu includes the margarita, made with lime juice, agave nectar and Partida tequila.
On cool evenings, try the Heated Affair, a specialty drink of the house made from Partida Añejo Tequila, hot spiced apple cider, and whipped cream.
