Located in downtown’s Little Italy district, Indigo Grill has a dull entrance, but the dark distressed wood floor and a yellow stone-covered exhibition kitchen give this industrial interior space charm and warmth. The menu is mostly Southwestern cuisine with Italian influences. The tortilla soup, for example, comes with corn salsa and crème fraiche; other options include the baked brie with jalapeno jelly and mole negro. Entrée favorites include the Kaffir lime duck or flat iron chimichurri, and meal finishers range from espresso to a slice of pistachio torte.
