Cafe Chloe

Café Chloe is a French bistro and coffee-tea house in the East Village. The outside is marked by large awnings and outdoor terrasse. Inside, stark white walls, rich wood furniture, small white-clothed tables, and a central wine bar makes this American café feel more like a homey Paris bistro. Express breakfasts of coffee, juice, and pastries are common, but there's also savory plates like poached eggs and sautéed wild mushrooms in a sage-truffle beurre blanc sauce. Lunch includes some international dishes, while dinner is a more classic affair with such dishes as mussels grenobloise, trout amandine, and duck confit.
