Located in the Olympic Village, the Parco della Musica (Music Park) is the largest and most visited concert facility in Europe. Designed by world-renowned architect Renzo Piano, the venue consists of three concert halls surrounding an ancient Roman—style outdoor theater. The concert halls feature red brick, travertine floors, and scarab-shaped roofs, while the interiors are adorned with cherry wood paneling and bright red seating. The park hosts concerts by four resident orchestras as well as visiting musicians performing everything from jazz and classical to rock and pop. Also on-site are the ruins of a villa discovered during construction.
