Located on the shore of Akumal Bay in the Maya Riviera, this sprawling hotel has a variety of accommodation options, including 21 beachfront hotel rooms, 40 garden bungalows, eight luxury villas and condos, and a private guesthouse. The hotel rooms are the midrange option, decorated with Mexican tiles, tropical linens, and small terraces facing the outdoor pool and bay. The hotel also has a spa, a kids’ club, and a PADI dive center that enables guests to explore the world-renowned Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System, located just offshore. The Lol-Ha restaurant serves Mexican-American fare, and there’s also a beachfront snack bar.
