Get to the source of Iceland’s most notable export—music—at this record shop that doubles as an independent recording label. Come by their storefront (housed in a classically drab house with corrugated siding) to expand your musical horizons beyond Bjork and Of Monsters And Men. Staff members are extremely passionate about music (many play in their own bands) and you’ll likely walk away with the first CD you’ve purchased in well over a decade. Interestingly, a lot of Iceland's noted musicians are producing soundtracks to some of Hollywood's biggest film endeavors. Their orchestrations are available here as well.
