Located in a back street off Piazza Tasso in the center of Sorrento, this restaurant serves traditional Mediterranean and Neapolitan cuisine. Named after singer Enrico Caruso, the restaurant's walls are covered with photographs and posters of the tenor, along with sketches drawn by Caruso himself. The à la carte menu has items like tuna carpaccio, tomato soup with wild rice and prawns, and monkfish ravioli, but there are also seasonal tasting menus. A thick wine book reflects the two on-site cellars, one dedicated to Italian wines and one to French.
Don't confuse this well-known restaurant with its attached, sister restaurant La Basilica.
