With its inviting white and blue exterior and French windows, Panetier Baluchon is as charming on the outside as it is inside. This cafe serves pastries like vol au vent and chocolate brioche; there's also a huge selection of fresh breads, and a wall of croissants, swirls, and cinnamon buns. A display case shows off the freshly baked cakes, tarts, macarons, and mousses (all made using organic flour from their own farm just outside the city). Sweet treats are king here, but they also offer hearty sandwiches (the roast beef is outstanding), served, of course, on their homemade bread.
