From afar, this leisure hotel looks like a secret lab from a Bond film—a low white building with 123 guest rooms nestled on the craggy shore of Esteves Island on Lake Titicaca. The 1960s décor—in-room seating areas feature pastel blue sofas and office-gray carpeting—leaves a little something to be desired. Then again, the real stars here are the sunsets, framed by huge (read floor-to-ceiling) panorama windows. The staff can even arrange a boat tour of the neighboring islands, launched from the property’s private pier.
