Located off the Nayarit Pacific coast of Mexico, the Costa Azul Adventure Resort in San Francisco is an all-inclusive, beachfront facility with both adventure and relaxtion opportunities on site. The 18 pastel, beachfront suites include two double beds, private balcony with ocean view, and Spanish tiled walk-in shower. Although known for having year-round surfing on its private beach, the resort also offers other activities, such as scuba diving, yoga, snorkeling, and whale watching. There is also a 20,000-gallon swimming pool and on-site spa facilities.

Serious surfers should group up at the Costa Azul’s exclusive accommodation on the Punta Mita Peninsula. The nearby Paradise Coves are pristine and virtually vacant.
Insider Tip:
If new to the area, it may be best to go by taxi from the airport than figure out public transport. The best deals can be found outside of the airport. Negotiate a price before getting in.
