Located on the North Shore of Kauai, the Hanalei Bay resort is surrounded by beaches and mountains and offers beautiful sunset views. The property is landscaped with tall fruit trees, waterfalls, and gardens. Each of the 98 units are independently owned and operated but come in sizes ranging from studio to three bedrooms, and most have private lanais. A three-foot deep tide pool with a sand bottom and a lagoon-style pool with lava-rock waterfalls are available, as are tennis courts, golfing, and a hot tub. The lobby, restaurant, pool, and gym were renovated in 2012.
