The Amusement Park at Buffalo Bill's Resort & Casino
Located in Primm, Nevada, 40 miles southwest of Las Vegas, this miniature Wild West—themed amusement park is ideal for those who haven’t quite reached the gambling age. Buffalo Bill’s Resort & Casino is famous for its 225-foot, 95-mph Desperado roller coaster, which was once the tallest and fastest coaster in the world. The park also features the vertical tower Turbo Drop, which plummets 170 feet at 45 mph; the Adventure Canyon Log Flume Ride, which winds through the resort’s main casino floor; and the Vault, which offers eight different 3-D simulations, including a mine cart ride.
If you plan to stay at the hotel after visiting the park, request a room away from the roller coaster to avoid noise.
