Villa Rosa Positano

Flowers are the theme at this cliffside, 150-year-old villa hidden behind vines of bougainvillea along Positano’s main drag. Each of its 12 classic, white-washed rooms feature private sea-view terraces or balconies (where breakfast is served) furnished with large terracotta vases full of geraniums and roses while the interior includes large, French windows, vaulted ceilings, and hand-painted majolica floor tiles in the bathroom floor. Although the hotel lacks dining facilities, the very friendly staff is happy to reserve tables at the many surrounding restaurants as well as provide complimentary pick-up service at the train station.
