Things to do in Positano

Whether summer or winter, it’s always a great time to visit the quaint seaside town of Positano. Summer months boast outdoor concerts and performances, summer film festivals, and art shows. July brings family-friendly fun with a number of mock pirate skirmishes, meant to reflect on Positano’s history, and each night concludes with a fireworks show. If you plan to visit during August 15th, you’ll witness the city’s Feast of the Assumption celebration, which centers around the city’s black Madonna icon. And, of course, the summer is the best time to check off all of the relaxing things to do in Positano. Read on the white sandy beaches that kiss the azure sea or take a boat to explore the grottos hidden among crags and cliffs along the Amalfi Coast.

However, the winter months do play host to a number of Christmas Pageants and festivities making it a great time to take the family on a vacation. Shop in the town stores and boutiques to get some unique gifts with Italian flair away from the bustle of some of the busier areas of Italy.
