49 Moo 6
Layi-Nakalay Rd.
Phuket, 83150, Thailand
TEL: 66-76-302-000

You’ve traveled to Phuket for one reason: Andaman Sea views. And at the cliffside Paresa (“heaven of heavens” in Sanskrit), all 49 rooms face Kamala Bay, and many have private patios and private pools. Beach access is only slightly harder to come by. Take a 10-minute stroll or a quick shuttle ride down to Kamala’s shore, site of the resort's beach club. Yet, even with all these sights, the hotel’s nighttime scene is still the most picturesque. The fiber-optic lit infinity pool juts out over the mountain, and after sunset, it evokes a starry sky. Two restaurants, one Thai (Talung), and one Italian (Diavolo), share one large space that encompasses a sea-view deck built around banyan trees. Prefer to play chef? Classes at the resort’s Thai cooking school include kitchen demos and guided tours of a local produce market.

Room to Book:

The 160-square-foot Aqua Room suites are the most affordable option to include private patios and plunge pools.

Insider Tip:

Book a double daybed that floats on the infinity pool, then order dinner served by wading waiters amid the fiber-optic starlight (from $198).
