300 E. Wigwam Blvd., Phoenix, AZ 85340, United States

Situated amid rose gardens, cacti, and citrus trees, the Wigwam (which was founded by the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company) has been a wonder for golfers since the first nine-hole course was built in 1930. Over the next 80 years, the resort expanded and remodeled to include a trio of 18-hole courses, nine tennis courts, and, for the kids, a recently constructed pool featuring 25-foot waterslides and a splash fountain. The adobe-style casitas are trimmed with wood furnishings and finished with artistic touches, such as rustic pottery and colorful throw rugs, alongside Jacuzzis and private terraces. For corporate trips, there’s plenty of indoor meeting space and a speedy staff to meet every request.
