Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort

This all-suite resort sits on a mountain above Phoenix, near the North Mountain Preserve. Its earth-toned buildings with Mediterranean-style arches are situated on different levels of the cliff side and include 547 two-room suites, each designed with bold patterned furniture and colorful artwork. The resort also offers a spa, a renowned golf club and academy, and the Different Pointe of View restaurant, lined with floor-to-ceiling windows framing the desert landscape. The most prominent feature, however, is the sprawling Falls Water Village with seven pools, terraced waterfalls, a whirlpool set in an artificial grotto, and a 138-foot waterslide.
