Locals frequent the late night Pomelo Park watering hole Merc Bar for its fresh cocktails and small menu recently added in 2011. Dark wood walls and chocolate leather chairs and banquettes fill the interior space, where well dressed patrons come to sample handcrafted cocktails, like the Sweet Little, made with Bulldog gin, St. Germain Elderflower liqueur, and organic agave nectar, and the Cayenne, a riff of the standard issue Bloody Mary made with Crop Organic tomato vodka. There's also wine and a selection of spirits.
Unlike it's sister bar in NYC, this outpost serves a menu of small bites (olives, crab crostini, and homemade meatballs).
