Pearland
Killen’s Steakhouse
Pearland, TX, 77581, United States
About 30 minutes south of Houston, this renowned steakhouse is tucked away inside a deceptively understated former icehouse. The dining room, however, is decidedly upscale, with classic white tablecloths, decorative ironwork, and Old West—themed paintings. Helmed by eponymous chef Ronnie Killen, the restaurant specializes in hand-cut USDA Prime steaks, such as the Nueske bacon—wrapped filet with grilled jumbo shrimp, paired with traditional sides like creamed corn and potatoes au gratin. Chef Killen is also known for his signature crème brûlée bread pudding, named one of the top 10 dishes in the United States by Food & Wine magazine.
Insider Tip:
If your reservation is during peak hours, arrive a few minutes early to find parking—the restaurant's small gravel lot usually fills up quickly.
