17 Blvd. Vaugirard, Montparnasse Train Station, Paris, 7505, France

As the world speed record holder, the TGV is the fastest way to travel throughout Europe. Every day roughly 450 trains zip back and forth at a speed of up to 322 kph (201 mph) through a network of cities. The aerodynamic design of the lines minimizes impact on the environment, and features such as low-energy light bulbs, recycled waste water, and air conditioning that adapts to the number of travelers make the trains eco-friendly. To make trips more comfortable, trains come with on-board services and amenities like office areas with electrical outlets and nursery spaces.
