The most famous cemetery in Paris, and one of the most recognizable in the world, Pere Lachaise is the final resting place for many celebrities. Visitors can wander the mausoleums and tombs of personalities like Edith Piaf, Oscar Wilde, and Chopin, among thousands of others. The cemetery is open to the public for no admission, but guided tours are a more surefire way to find the tombs of your favorite artists, writers, or celebrities.
