The former elevated train tracks that once circled Paris are slowly opening back up to the public as green spaces for jogging and strolling. The newest section in the 15th district features a little slice of nature cutting through the urban jungle. Plans are underway by the mayor to continue renovating other stretches of the former railway, rendering these empty spaces into usable public space, much like the Promenade Plantée in the 12th arrondissement.
